Stand

Beloved One,

Stand
because you have walked for too long, you have run for days, for weeks, for months, for years and now
It’s time to just……
Stand.

Stand
because your legs are pressed but not crushed, they are struck down but not destroyed, they are sore but you can’t sit down just yet. You are perplexed but not in despair, you are persecuted but you aren’t abandoned. You can’t lie down now. You can’t give in, certainly, you can’t give up.

Stand
because you can’t turn back either. You’ve come too far to do that. You’ve covered too many miles, missed too many meals, stayed awake on your journey too many nights, you’ve saturated too many pillows, you’ve done all you know to do.

Stand
because the Lord who has brought you all this way says He is able to see you through. He will see you to the end, He will perfect you, He will establish you, He will strengthen you, He will settle you.

Stand
because if you have clothed yourself properly, if you have armed and shielded yourself aright then that is the next thing you are told to do and so please……

Stand
And as you stand , pray.
