Woman – You are beautiful

How great it is for you to realise how valuable you are , how important you are to God and how much he wants you to become what he has called you to become and represent everything he has made you to be from your inception.

You see, it does not matter what negative things anyone thinks or says about you , what matters is what you truly think and say about yourself and whether this is lining up with the truth- What truth you may ask?- The truth of The Word of God.

Getting to this place is no self pride, I am not speaking of haughtiness, arrogance or feeling better than anyone. I am talking about self worth, self care and learning to love yourself so that you can truly give out what you actually have.

This morning I looked into the mirror and I said to myself ‘ You go girl! What a babe! ‘

In my reflection I could see something beyond the greying hairs around my edges, beyond the fine lines and the dark circles around my eyes. I saw purpose and the beauty and effects of mercy and grace and strength that comes as a gift from God.

I said it not to make myself feel better about myself, I said it because I meant it, I believe it , I am grateful for it and it is the indisputable truth.

Psalm 139:14-16 The Message (MSG)

^13-16 Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;
    you formed me in my mother’s womb.
I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking!
    Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
    I worship in adoration—what a creation!
You know me inside and out,
    you know every bone in my body;
You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,
    how I was sculpted from nothing into something.
Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth;
    all the stages of my life were spread out before you,
The days of my life all prepared
    before I’d even lived one day.
